Year of Service

I'm inspired by our new Mr. President. I'm not exactly sure what that means. But I like his message that we need to be more service-oriented to help put the country back together instead of waiting around for government or the markets to improve our lives.

The history of Thread

My idea of the perfect Friday night is a fast dinner and a slow stroll through the racks at the local thrift store. I look at everything. I try on stacks and stacks of clothes, keeping "definite," "maybe," and a "definitely maybe" piles. Once my stack of clothing is complete, I head to the jewelry display and finger everything, usually to the annoyance of the young woman in the smock with the keys.
